Successful Delivery of a Disc Granulator to a Chilean Client for Fertilizer Production

In October 2025, a long-term agricultural equipment client from Chile successfully purchased our disc granulator (also known as a pan granulator) for use in their organic and compound fertilizer production line. The client’s main objective was to improve granulation efficiency, enhance product uniformity, and reduce material waste during fertilizer production.

Client Background and Requirements

The Chilean customer operates a medium-scale fertilizer production plant focused on organic compost and NPK compound fertilizers. Before contacting us, they faced several challenges:

• Uneven granule size from their existing granulation equipment
• Low granulation rate (<70%) leading to high recycling loads
• Difficulty in handling fine and moisture-sensitive raw materials

After technical communication and raw material analysis, our engineering team recommended a 2.5-meter diameter disc granulator with the following specifications:

• Drive Motor: 11 kW with speed reducer
• Features: Automatic cleaning device, reinforced base structure, and moisture control system

We also provided a complete technical layout integrating the disc granulator with the client’s batching, Barreja, sec, and screening systems to form a semi-automatic production line.

Implementation and Support

After signing the purchase contract, the equipment was produced and tested in our factory within 25 dies. Our quality control team performed strict performance testing, ensuring smooth operation, uniform granule formation, and minimal dust emission.

Upon delivery to Chile, our technical engineers offered online installation guidance and operation training. The client’s local team completed installation within 10 days and successfully started production.

Results and Customer Feedback

After three months of operation, the Chilean client reported:
