Our client is a forward-thinking company within Uzbekistan’s rapidly growing agro-industrial sector. Uzbekistan’s economy is heavily reliant on agriculture, particularly “white gold” (cotton) and a diverse range of fruits and vegetables. There is a strong governmental push to introduce modern agricultural technologies, including drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, which require high-quality water-soluble fertilizers to function effectively. This project was a direct response to that national priority.

El repte: Building Domestic Capacity for Modern Farming

Prior to this project, Uzbekistan depended significantly on imported water-soluble fertilizers, which were costly and subject to supply chain vulnerabilities. The key challenges were:

1. Import Dependency: High reliance on foreign WSF suppliers led to increased costs for farmers and limited availability.
2. Technology Gap: A lack of domestic, industrial-scale expertise in producing consistent, high-purity water-soluble NPK blends.
3. Supporting Irrigation Modernization: The national rollout of efficient irrigation systems required a reliable domestic source of compatible fertilizers to ensure its success.
4. Scale and Precision: Establishing a facility that could produce 300,000 TPY of various NPK formulas with extreme precision and minimal waste.

La solució: A Turnkey 300,000 TPY WSF Production Line

We provided a complete end-to-end solution, from initial design and equipment supply to installation, commissioning, and operator training. The core of the solution includes:

• Raw Material Handling System: Designed for receiving and storing large quantities of base materials (P., Urea, Plànol, MKP, Nitrat de potassi, Sulfate of Potash).
• Precise Batching & Weighing System: High-accuracy load cells and automated batching lines ensure the exact formulation ratios are achieved every time, which is critical for fertilizer efficacy.
• Mescla & Granulation Technology: Advanced horizontal mixers and a specialized granulation system produce uniform, free-flowing granules with excellent solubility and minimal dust.
• Sec & Cooling System: A customized rotary dryer and cooler ensure the final product has the perfect moisture content and physical stability for long-term storage.
• Screening & Envasament: Multi-deck screens classify the granules to a precise size, and automated bagging machines pack the final product into 25kg bags or Big Bags (FIBCs).
• Dust Collection & Automatització: A full closed-loop dust collection system ensures an environmentally clean plant and product recovery. A central PLC provides full automation for consistent quality and operational efficiency.
